Nicole
Sorhagen
Nicole is
a completing a master's thesis on the "slow-mapping" of word
meanings - the gradual enrichment of word meaning over time - as
a function of social class, age, and vocabulary size. Nicole is
a graduate of Bloomsburg University, with a Bachelors in
Psychology.
Ryan
Langan
Ryan is beginning a
master's thesis on the kinds of input that are most effective
for young children's word learning, especially the learning of
synonyms. Ryan received a Bachelors in Psychology from the
University of Scranton.
Meredith
Henry
Meredith is beginning
a master's thesis examining young children's understanding of
words referring to morality and moral emotions, such as "guilt"
and "shame." Meredith graduated from Samford University
with a Bachelors in Psychology.
Travis
Nichols Travis is the Early
Child Development Lab coordinator, and he is conducting
independent research investigating young children's
understanding of words as categorical labels. Travis is a second
year graduate student with a Bachelors degree in Psychology from
Brigham Young University.
